a new year... in august

Sorry for the lack of posts! It's been a long two weeks. I moved into my apartment and started classes yesterday. Needless to say, I am already feeling overwhelmed with school. That sounds so pathetic but junior year always seems to be the most important year whether you're in high school or college.

I am taking three of my minor classes, two of which are 300-level courses and one which is a 400-level (aka what most consider senior level). I'm excited for all three, I just know it's going to be a lot of work, which of course I am willing to put in! Other than that, I am taking a general education music class that seems interesting so far and hopefully will be easy and hold my attention throughout the semester! My fifth class is my LAST & FINAL business pre-req before I get accepted to COB 300! I am more than ecstatic about that! I'll keep y'all updated with classes... if I can keep up with myself!

Tonight we had our first of many recruitment workshops! It was pretty basic, but I'm sure it will get more intense as we get closer and closer to actual recruitment! I will also keep you posted throughout recruitment and once we get our new, lovely ladies, of course!

As for now, I'm going to try to get a good night's rest so I can finish all my work tomorrow and hopefully look forward to relaxing weekend nights! I'm feeling homesick, which is odd considering this is my third year at college, but you know how that goes. Home cooked meals and time with your parents/siblings is always hard to leave. I wish you all a good year and good grades!
